A full developmental edit is a really useful learning tool if you're starting out in a fresh genre or want to take your skills up a notch. It's a course in fiction writing craft and technique, with your novel as the example text.
For more experienced novelists, I usually recommend an editorial assessment instead.
Full Developmental Edit
This is a detailed review of your manuscript's strengths and weaknesses, based on two readings, first as a regular reader, and then a slow reading, where I mark it up with manuscript comments.

You send me your manuscript, and I give you detailed feedback on it as manuscript comments and a summary comment. Then we’ll meet for 30 mins to discuss the feedback on a call.

Coached Editorial Assessment
An editorial assessment is a solid first step—and for many people, it's all they need. The coached version is the most affordable option available.
I read your novel once and deliver editorial feedback as notes (typically four to six pages) and on a one-hour feedback call.
£150 + £60 per 10,000 words
A 70,000-word novel would cost £570 (approx. $680)
Editorial Assessment
If you want a short report of around 1500 words instead of a call, this service costs:
£250 + £60 per 10,000 words
A 70,000-word novel would cost £670 (approx. $920)
I can also quote in EUR or USD.
You can also purchase this service as an add-on after a manuscript critique or coached critique. I discount the cost of the original service from the total cost of the developmental edit.
