Sensitivity Reading and Workshops

​A sensitivity read offers feedback on whether you've represented characters, settings, and situations in a way that readers with relevant lived experience will recognize.

I offer sensitivity reads to publishers and authors directly, particularly on queer masculine experience, inter-cultural topics, cultural anthropology, and novels set in Scotland.

Workshops

I offer workshops on speculative fiction editing and publishing
 
Workshops can be online (globally) or in person (Europe). Please email me to request a brochure with detailed information about these workshops. â€‹â€‹

  • Fiction developmental editing (beginner and advanced; up to three hours)

  • Worldbuilding for fiction writers (60 or 90 mins)

  • Editing speculative fiction (up to three hours)
